Fifty years before 2012, in 1962, two amazing events occured. FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, was filmed at the height of the COLD WAR with the USA. Secondly, The CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite made its debut on Monday, April 16, 1962. The New Yorker magazine had a very funny cartoon of USSR President Nikita Khrushchev having gained world renown banging his shoe on table at JFK in his defiant speech at the UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY, with strong words in English "WE'LL BURY YOU !!!!!....showing KHRUSHCHEV addressing a gigantic crowd in RED SQUARE from the balcony of the Kremlin with the very humble, grandfatherly words: "You're probably wondering why we asked you here today."
