Free Porn Videos and The Rise of Social Polarization.
Ever get that feeling that the world seems even more at odds today than it ever has been before? Well- you’re not alone.
Outside of politics, few topics are as contentious as the health consequences of viewing free porn videos. Since the advent of the internet, and arguably the emergence of readily available pornography- experts and laymen alike have been torn over whether or not there is actually any serious mental side-effects of viewing adult erotica online.
While sex and pornography have been around as long as human history- the debate over it’s validity and usefulness still rages on. Perhaps now more than ever. Thanks to lockdown measures giving us all more time at home and largely, more time to ourselves, online pornography consumption has skyrocketed. “People watch free porn videos. They always have, and probably always will,” says PornDoe, a website that provides an ornate amount of free erotica. “What lockdown has shown us all is that pornography consumption is a normal behavior, and something that all genders and sexual orientations commonly indulge in.”
The purveyors of online porn videos at PornDoe say this with conviction, and without a hint of remorse. Which begs the question- is free porn really as okay as so many make it out to be?
Social Polarization in 2020
Easily attributed to social media providing an even keel platform- we’ve all discovered that people have opinions. And frankly, they’re not shy about handing them out these days. Whether it’s the thoughts and feelings behind growing political divides, how we feel about healthcare, what we think about science, and whether or not we indulge in any one of the thousands of conspiracy theories floating about.
This new found divergent thought pattern has created a fashionable space for a number of different questionable activities- particularly those centered around our health practices. Online porn has been under the microscope of scrutiny since the advent of the internet. With many still declaring that the abundance of free porn videos will surely be the downfall of our society, although that still has yet to come to fruition.
Despite all of the evidence to the contrary, or the myth-driven criticisms behind them, these pronouncements and convictions still continue to filter in at a hot pace. With online free porn videos ever being the next hot topic in the barrage of polar disagreements.
How Experts Really Feel About Free Porn Videos
Pornography is touted to be both incredibly healthy, and extremely destructive- depending on who you talk to. However, most experts seem to agree on one effusive thought- it’s not what we’re viewing, but how we view it. “Pornography can be both a boon and a curse” says a sexologist. “If we’re viewing online porn videos at such a furious rate, that it’s starting to interrupt our normal functions and relationships- that’s a problem.”
However, she goes on to say that online porn can be beneficial, if viewed responsibly. Understanding that it’s a departure from reality, an outlet for fantasy, free pornography clips can allow people to explore and empower their own personal sense of sexuality. “Which is something that is perfectly acceptable.” She adds. Especially when indulging in niche porn videos- like ethical and queer porn. Pornography can offer a necessary rebuttal to narrow beliefs and sexual stereotypes.
Understanding that free porn videos don’t actually portray real sex is paramount. Knowing that they’re actors and being hyper aware of unrealistic beauty standards, and underlying consent systems can offer many people with fringe desires a safe and judgement free outlet to explore their needs. “Frankly,” she closes, “porn is never going away. So like many other recreational behaviors, we need to understand how to use it responsibly and in moderation.”
How We Feel About Experts
Despite most experts agreeing that better porn habits start with better education- America in particular has a growing distrust of experts in general. Rejection of expert opinion hasn’t just become fashionable- it’s become a cultural symbol of righteous rebellion. Whether you’re discussing free porn videos online, or the societal benefits of vaccines.
Living in an era where the whole compendium of human knowledge is held within our palms, it’s almost juxta positional to believe that the undereducated exist, let alone are a driving voice behind so many trends and movements. However, despite our near unfettered access to knowledge, we have still somehow managed to curate a generation of mistrust and misinformation. Largely from expecting many to get necessary and fundamental education (like sex-ed) from the internet itself, while at the same time condemning it.
A place where reasoned skepticism and analytically driven inquiry have every ability to exist- we rely on sound bites and machines to take care of most of our base thought processes. We no longer seek to practice cognitive dissonance, but instead look for any shred of evidence or loophole that shores our beliefs, no matter how far-fetched they are. Creating a divide that goes far beyond which political party you support, or what type of online porn videos you’re into.

This, ten times. The stupid people are winning, and being stupid seems to be an active choice they make.
